Handgun Courses

The two basic types of handguns are revolvers and semi-automatics. Whether you already have a handgun or are looking to purchase one, allow me to give you advice on what types and brands are the best choice for what you are looking for. I will even accompany you to the store! I offer three levels of courses. It may be necessary for a client to progress slowly through the courses, at the instructor’s discretion. I will customize the course to your needs (safety, storage, legal requirements, home defense, tactical, marksmanship, shooting on the move, drawing from holster etc.) within reason. I have a 25 yd. pistol/carbine range with various types of targets (paper/reactionary, and 3D)

*Active law enforcement and academy trainees will MOST LIKELY be ready for intermediate.

*** I must insist on safety at all times. Therefore, repeated safety violations will result in dismissal with NO REFUND.

Beginner

This is where EVERYONE starts in order to ensure we are on the same page. Includes 2 hr Classroom and range day. Range will include various targets and distances. Main focus is on safety and marksmanship. This is private 1 on 1 instruction, unless you want to include a friend or family member! Total course time is approximately 8 hours.
